Is the Ladakh standoff between India and China exaggerated?
It is not exaggerated at all ! The Chinese border forces have occupied a strip of Indian territory- 300 x 18 = 5400 sq km in Ladakh so far all along the Line of actual control all the way just east of Daulat Beg Oldi in the North to the southern shore of the Pangong Tso lake. It is with a great sense of bitterness and unhappiness that I have to inform my fellow Indians that If the situation continues to deteriorate in this manner - we will end up losing the beautiful lake Pangong Tso which was featured in the movie Three - Idiots to China. No Indian will be able to visit the shores of that splendid lake anymore.
