There might be millions of law suits arising from this epidemic. The merit of any of these suits will be determined by the negligence exhibited by the institution that is sued. In this sense, a college or a slaughterhouse are no different. If operations were negligent, they get sued. Nobody should be able to hide behind their  intentions . A judgement is made using the information and the decision process. If Tyson Foods screwed up, sue them. If the University of Nebraska behaved poorly, sue them.
