Why didn't Trump take the right efforts to pacify the protesters?

The people who are protesting want justice. Donald Trump doesn’t have an empathic bone i
n his body and cannot speak to anyone unless it’s about himself or money. His response to unarmed black people being killed by police was to attack Colin Kaepernick and other black athletes (never white ones) for peacefully taking a knee in protest, distorting the issue into “disrespecting the flag” and telling a crowd of police officers at a police convention to be rough with people they arrest. If you want to listen to what a president should say during a time like this, listen to what Joe Biden has been saying (and of course, President Obama).

That is because we are no more in kindergarten where a group of people protests for political gimmicks and the president pacify them. The last President did that. He even marched with them and said ear-soothing things to them. Where did that get us?

The president should ignore them and give justice to George Floyd which is currently ongoing. The ones with jobs and families to feed among them will go home when they are tired and the one's with no job, already got one: SJW.

They can continue till they get tired.

The duty of Congress and senate is to look at any law that empowers the police to brutally kill a black man and repeal it. Is there one? None that I know of.

So, what do you want them to do?

You got it. The Democrats will support the protest and the Republicans will not. It is already a political movement. What they are banking on is to provoke Trump to abuse the rights of the protesters so the news media can get something to write about and that will become the next big story. Well, they already started doing that with the BLM label on the street to the WH.

The only person affected in all these is George Floyd. Everyone else is trying to use his death to get something. 20 years from now, some of these SJW will be in politics and they can always show the video or pix of their protests to show how they stood against human rights violation and demanded that BLM. They will forget that the very same thing they claimed they solved 20 yrs ago is what they are now using to campaign in that time for political office or happening again. It's a vicious unending circle because these protesters aren't looking for solutions. They are opportunists just exploiting a black man's death for their own gain just as the politicians are doing.

If they truly care, they didn't need Geoge Floyd to die before everyone suddenly remembers there are black communities, mostly in democratic regions, living on the verge of death daily.

That Trump did not, and does not, seek to pacify what he sees as his enemies. At the same time, it appeared that this movement’s leadership did not want to slow down and tone down their own rhetoric for fear of losing momentum. The ambulance chasers of the 1960’s arrived to keep the crowds and their young leaders directed toward greater crowds and confrontations. The result is exactly what Trump felt he needed—not imagination but just brute force. In short, Trump and his advisors do not have the leadership skills or desire to unite us. And the movement does not reflect seasoned leadership to move this conflict in a direction that both sides save face and find a “win-win” outcome instead of seeking “unconditional surrender”. Hate causes blindness in thought and actions.
